East Coweta Middle School (ECMS) recently held its seventh annual mini relay and raised more than $2,300 for the American Cancer Society through its Relay for Life team, TRIBE HOPE.
“Our annual mini relay has become a school tradition – so much to the point where kids begin asking after mid-winter break, when is the mini relay going to be this year,” said Wendell Warr, ECMS teacher and TRIBE HOPE team captain. “This year’s event was the seventh year in a row that we have had this event. It proves each year to be a very successful fundraiser for TRIBE HOPE.”
