Madras Middle School student Megan Czerwinski was named the Coweta County winner of this year’s 2014 Middle School Water Essay Contest.
Czerwinski traveled to the Georgia State Capitol building on Dec. 4 to be honored with 16 other contest winners from metropolitan Atlanta counties. She was accompanied by her eighth grade Language Arts teacher, Tracey Pitts, REACH teacher Candace Cochran, and Madras Principal Lorraine Johnson.
