By Celia Shortt celia@newnan.com The art and music teachers at Jefferson Parkway Elementary School have a desire to show their students how music and art are connected, and their unique school resource, an outdoor classroom, helps make it possible.
“We believe music and art go hand in hand,” said Rebecca Watford, art teacher at Jefferson Parkway. “We have a transient population at this school. Our goal is to make their world bigger than Newnan.”
