Students at Western Elementary School have been busy with weekly STEM lessons.
On March 14, Kindergarten students in Mrs. Wade’s and Ms. Paula’s class built Leprechaun traps after reading “Leprechaun on the Loose.” In their attempt to stop the leprechaun from making a mess at Western, students worked in groups and used boxes, string, tape, skittles, water bottles, popsicle sticks, aluminum foil and construction paper to build their traps.
